My grandmother (who was of Irish/German descent & who passed away 19 yrs ago) used to make a potato candy, but no one in our family has the recipe. I remember she would grate the peeled potatoes, and that we used powdered sugar. I’d like to find the recipe for our next family reunion.
Potato Candy
This is a homemade candy recipe for a wonderful sweet praline. The potato don’t add flavor, only starch. The amounts are approximate, if you want you can add more or less sugar and peanut butter. Why not make them today! This recipe gives: 1 roll.
