looking for a peanut butter candy recipe?

My mother used to make a candy that she called hillbilly fudge that used powdered sugar, butter, and peanut butter, but I cannot find the recipe to know if that is everything. She would make almost a dough with the sugar and butter roll it out thin, spread the peanut butter on top roll it and slice similar to a jelly roll then chill. We could keep in the house once she made I would love to make for my grandchildren if I could find a recipe.

Using leftover easter candy in recipe for some baked good?

I have a bunch of leftover chocolate eggs, bunny and a cross and I was looking for a way to incorporate it into one baked good so it can be eaten and be gone! I was thinking something with peanut butter. Does anyone know of such a recipe?

Looking for a Christmas Candy recipe, peanut butter cream cheese popcorn balls.?

For Christmas one year I tried peanut butter/cream cheese popcorn balls, and they were awesome! The popcorn balls had candy mixed in, such as M&M’s and were so terribly addictive that people were constantly hounding this poor guy at work so his wife would make them! She made them for us 2-3 times before x-mas came around and they were awesome, but I never got the recipe. The trick I am thinking is to make a glaze that holds the popcorn together. Does anyone have a clue on this one?

Can someone help me with a list of well known candy recipe sites?

I am making candy for Christmas and I need a list of ‘well known’ candy recipe sites, or some recipes that you have used yourself that have turned out. I am making the following…

Hard Tack (rock candy)
Pull Taffy
Fudge (chocolate or peanut butter)
Butter Mints
Pop Corn Balls

Thanks very much in advanced. Any recipes that have been tried are seriously appreciated, as I don’t have a lot of time to make that many mistakes. Thanks again =)

Does anyone have a recipe for the PB Max candy bar that Mars used to make?

I have been looking everywhere for this recipe and can’t seem to find it anywhere! Someone has got to have it in an old fundraising cookbook or something. I thought this was a popular candy for bake sales and things of that sort. I think that it is made out of Lorna Doones, peanut butter and milk chocolate. Any version of the PB Max candy bar recipe you may have would be greatly appreciated!

does anyone remember the name of the planters peanut candy from the 90's?

back when i was a kid my brother and i got this candy from planters all the time. it came in an orange bag that had a sticker with the planters peanut man on the back so you could reseal the bag. The candy was in the shape of peanuts and was made out of wafers (like the sugar wafers) and was filled with peanut butter from what i could remember. they almost looked like a cross between nutter butter and circus peanuts. If anyone remembers them do you know where i can still get them?

Where and when did potato candy with peanut butter originate?

My family has been making this candy for at least 60 years -probably longer. It is made with a small potato, powdered sugar & peanut butter.
