I’ve been using a nearly identical recipe for YEARS but only with white marshmallows and chocolate chips. The proportions may be slightly different. It is fantastic, easy and everyone loves it!

is the fudge hard bec mine was very soft rolf lmao

  6. CiccioItalianCafe says:

if its soft its not boiled long enough or hard enough, it needs to be a vigourous boil

Hi CiccioItalianCafe, I don’t eat marshmallows as I am a vegetarian and most marshmallows contain gelatine, will the lack of these on the recipe alter the result much?

  16. CiccioItalianCafe says:

yes it will be alot harder, try finding vegetarian marshmellows that use agaragar instead of gelatin, or I would try adding 1/2 cup condensed milk that should alot help soften

kia ora from windy wellington! tis a shame this cant be veganised, however i shall continue my search..

  18. waggy2uk says:

Hi, after 5 mins (step 3), do you take the mixture off the heat and add in chocolate etc or do you keep it on the stove? Thanks.

  19. CiccioItalianCafe says:

remove from stove and add the chocolate & marshmellows immediately as the mix will be hot enough to melt them

  20. hk44gcutd says:

can i use some different choclates n flavours instead of marshmellows n d choc melts,,,

  21. CiccioItalianCafe says:

You have to use marshmellow to get the right consistency but you can use plain flavoured ones but chop up small so the melt easily, as for the chocolate you can also make with white chocolate with this flavour i usually chop up Oreo cookies and make it Cookies & Cream flavour

  22. hk44gcutd says:

thnx that helped,,, but now i gotta search 4 diz stuff here in Mumbai (India),,, itz vry difficult gettin deze things (marshmellows, carnation…) n all,,, u wont believe,,,lol,,, so juz was wantin an alternative

  23. rabbiteh says:

can i use cream instead of evaporated milk?

  24. CiccioItalianCafe says:

I’m sure cream would work fine , or even 1/2 cream 1/2 milk mixture

  25. yoyoind says:

@hk44gcutd …..marshmellows are not easy to find in India. i agree with u. Marshmellows are available in Kodaikanal though that too in abundance.
