what is isomalt? what are sugar alcohols in some sugarfree candy? if it is sugar free, why does it still have calories? how do you make hard candy without sugar.

My husband is a diebetic with a sweet tooth, so can any one tell me what brand of sugarfree candy dose not have aspertame in it. There is just to many resons not to use aspertame, its really bad for your health. I’d like to find some hard candy mints like starlite ments made with stevia if possible or made with splenda

the after taste is awful!
i bought bob’s sugar-free candy canes and they have a digusting flavor and they’re so ugly. they’re not shaped like normal canes, the curve is like.. out and not even curved in.

I am a teen and just got a major headache after eating Russell Stover’s sugar free candy (it was just lying on a table).. Are there any long-term effects of maltitol to concentration or memory?
