  13. MoiEtMonAmie says:

You mean you cant focus on more than one thing at once?. I speak and understand more than one language then OF COURSE I also have an accent. How about you? Do you have an accent when YOU speak another language? Did you know that for other people around the world, YOU are then one with an accent!!! THINK!!!!

  14. rainbowmonkeycrayon1 says:

i guess i cant focus on more than one thing at once. and i dont speak other languages, therefor i do not have an accent when i speak them. i know i would have an accent for other languages, i’m not that stupid. i didnt say she didnt have an accent. i said hers was really annoying to me. and that was just my opinion. you know, you didnt prove any point in what you said, right? :D

I am a New Yorker and I recently moved to another state, and people keep asking me if Im from New York because I have a New York accent. Each and every person around this country has some sort of an accent. This woman took the time out of her life to show you something that you must have been searching for; otherwise you wouldnt have been watching this video. This is not an English class, and her pronunciation is not at issue here.

  16. rainbowmonkeycrayon1 says:

actually, i wasnt looking for this, it just so happened that it was one of the videos that was related to the one i was watching before, and i got bored, so i watched it, and i never said her pronunciation was an issue, or that it was english class, i was simply stating my opinion (: every one is entitled to one are they not? or is canada not a free country anymore..

There is a fine line between using your right to free speech and vulgarly pointing flaws in others in order to make yourself feel better. Accent is something that most people can do nothing about. Telling someone that they have an accent is just like telling someone that they are ugly, because in order to change either one must have money and time. Most people do not have the financial resources to spend months or years with a speach pathologist to get rid of their accent.

  18. rainbowmonkeycrayon1 says:

actually, i’m not doing to make myself feel better, but okay there. and i’m i’m saying her accent was annoying to me. how is that like calling her ugly? thats not even the same at all. and i’m not even saying she has to get rid of her accent. i’m saying I think its annoying. cause thats my opinion. simple as that. there doesnt need to be a huge discussion about this, its just my personal opinion. not to bash her for her accent, just my opinion. thats what the comment box is for. (:

  19. EynatDjana says:

I dont know your age, but Im sure youre a teen or youre just acting like one. Since, you only see words instead of a deliberately drawn out analogy, i.e. accent v. ugly correlation. You will learn soon that in life statements about someone have consequences. If she was to read your comment she would have been highly offended. Like I said before there is a fine line between a personal opinion and a vulgar needless statement. :)

  20. rainbowmonkeycrayon1 says:

wow you are good. i am a teen, and obviously i dont know the difference. and whether it was a ”vulgar needless statement” or not, it was four months ago. so, let it go. (:

  21. iyouchan says:

It’s not her fault she has an accent. She can’t just “drop” it just like that. It’s hard for one to not have an accent when it’s not their native language. Btw, accents are not annoying. I happen to find them sexy.

  22. knowzwhatimeanz says:

    BOTH OF YOU STOP ARGUING.
You are entitled to your opinion, rainbowmonkeycrayon1, and so is EynatDjana. You may be teenagers or whatever, but you’re acting like you’re 10.

  23. rainbowmonkeycrayon1 says:

i let it go a while ago and i think the other person did too. but good job super person. you saved the day even though it was already saved (: thanks for your help
