I am looking for a candy recipe my family made when i was younger using canned milk and peanut butter.?

They would put the evaporated milk and peanut butter and i am not sure what else in a pan on the stove and when it was done it was poured onto wax paper to cool and they we broke it apart and ate it. It was a soft candy.

It sounds to me like a peanut butter fudge. I don’t have a recipe to recommend for you.

Peanut Butter Fudge-Hope this comes close, Im sure you could put this on wax paper to cool as well

    2 c. sugar
    1 c. canned milk
1 12 oz. jar peanut butter
    1 c. mini marshmallows
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugar, butter and canned milk in pan. Cook on medium heat until soft ball forms, about 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Turn heat off. Add marshmallows, peanut butter and vanilla. Beat until creamy. Pour into a buttered 8-inch pan, cool, cut into squares. Makes 2 pounds
