Anyone have a Dog Friendly Candy Recipe?

I’ve seen these candy-coated dipped dog biscuits in the stores – almost like they are dipped in white chocolate and then dipped in sprinkles – i was thinking of making some for my neighbors dog but can’t find anything – wondering if anyone had a good recipe they use? Thanks much and happy holiday’s! :)
Thanks! :) I found one online but it actually used WHITE CHOCOLATE! I figured that’s a no-no and thought i’d see who’s got good ideas – carob – i’ll have to try that.

Thanks again ya’ll! :)

Carob is a safe alternative to chocolate, I used to have a book with treat recipes but I am pretty sure I lost it while moving. This site looked like they have a ton of cute stuff. Just avoid onion, chocolate and grapes- they are bad for doggies.

    1 cup all purpose flour
1 1/2 cups oats (uncooked oatmeal)
1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
    1 1/2 cup corn meal
    4 T garlic powder
    1/2 cup oat bran
    1/3 cup olive oil
    3 T honey
    1 egg
1 1/4 cups chicken, beef or vegetable stock or broth

Makes about 3 dozen small biscuits
Preheat oven to 300° F. Grease (or line with parchment paper) 2 large cookie sheets. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add the egg, oil and stock. Mix well to form a soft dough that is firm enough to roll out. On a floured surface roll out dough to about 1/2 inch in thickness. Cut into desired shapes and place about 1 inch apart on the prepared cookie sheet. Bake for two hours, then turn the oven off and let the biscuits sit for several hours until oven is completely cool in order to dry and harden them. Store at room temperature for several months.
